Diamond – changing the boundaries of sex work in Jamaica
Diamond is 33 years old and he sells sex for a living. He claims he is one of five male sex workers in Jamaica who sells sex on stage. Once per week, on Friday nights, he performs live sex on stage for a fee at a nightclub in the Corporate Area. However, he says the bulk of his earnings comes from wealthy, middle-class women who pay him as much as $10,000 per session. He says 19 of those women, many of whom are married, are his private clients.
